The University of Lincoln has launched innovation funding vouchers which both SME’s and large businesses are eligible to access.
Innovation Vouchers 2023
Aims
- Providing organisations with access to the University’s expertise, technical support, equipment and facilities.
- Access up to 20 days of an academic’s time with no cost to the business.
- Creates a collaborative partnership, supporting both the business with their knowledge gap, to address a business challenge to drive new ideas, products, processes or services and academics with their research interests.
- Strengthen relationships between the University and external partners and create opportunities for further collaboration and joint funding bids
Two types of Innovation Vouchers are available
1) A business based project that will lead on to a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) application
- Funding up to 10 days of academic time
- Both SMEs and large businesses are eligible
- Relevant for private and 3rd sector organisations
- Voucher should evolve into a KTP application
- Work to be delivered by 31/03/2023
2) A business based project that will lead to further collaboration with the partner (e.g. consultancy, Innovate UK bid, fully funded PhDs etc.)
- Funding up to 20 days of academic time
- Both SMEs and large businesses are eligible
- Relevant for public, private and 3rd sector organisations
- Voucher should evolve into further collaborative activity
- Work to be delivered by 31/07/2023
